How does the web app look and feel to use?

The look of the Skylight website compliments the enlightening name of the application. Users are greeted by a pleasantly blue color scheme, featuring a deep, almost murky dark blue at the top, a medium blue in the center and a light blue at the bottom of the page. Navigational links are lined up across the top of the page. The application itself uses a white background and hints of vibrant green, blue, pink and red to create a pleasing contrast that makes each schedule, list and contact detail easier to read.

How does the registration process work?

A new user can create a Skylight account by clicking the yellow “Login” link in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. The application gives users many log in options, which is always a nice convenience. Users can choose from Google, Yahoo, AOL, OpenID, MyOpenID, WordPress, Blogger, LiveJournal, ClaimID, Verisign and ClickPass. Those who do not have an account they wish to link to Skylight can click the green “Sign Up free!” button in the lower right hand corner of the page. The user is asked to select a membership plan before continuing. The registration form requires a first and last name, email address, password, country location, time zone, business name, preferred currency and Captcha code entry.
